Dr. William H. Bordeaux received his Doctor of Arts in chemistry from the University of Miami, Florida. He was employed during the summers and part-time as a chemist as the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) laboratories in Miami.

Bordeaux is co-author of the Instructor’s Resource Manual for the second volume of Integrated Chemistry, published by Houghton Mifflin Co. Bordeaux collaborated with other experts on all chapters dealing with organic chemistry. In 2012, he was named Professor Emeritus by the Board of Trustees.
