Dr. Davis is a licensed clinical social worker, licensed marriage and family therapist, licensed mental health counselor and a national certified counselor. Dr. Davis has 30 years of private practice experience with Samaritan Centers, Psychiatric Services, Parkview Behavioral Health, and The Family Care Center. He currently serves as owner and lead therapist for Grace & Truth Counseling Services LLC, a ministry of College Park United Brethren in Christ Church in Huntington. He has opened free counseling clinics in Marion, Indianapolis, and Huntington. He has served as a clinical supervisor for 16 years.

Dr. Davis has a B.S. from Lancaster Bible College (Bible and Christian Education), a M.Ed. from Millersville University (Counselor Education), 12 post-graduate hours in counseling psychology from Ball State University and a Ph.D. from Purdue University (Professional Counseling).

Dr. Davis has a long history with Huntington University and has served in many different roles at the institution including Director of Campus Ministries, Director of Counseling Services, and Associate Dean of Students. Prior to returning to Huntington as a faculty member in the Graduate School, he served as professor of graduate counseling and director of the graduate counseling program at Indiana Wesleyan University for 13 years.

Dr. Davis is a frequent presenter at local, regional and national conferences and seminars as well as retreats and providing pulpit supply for local churches. His research interests include the integration of psychology and theology, the integration of therapy with spiritual formation and direction, personality disorders, marital enrichment, and men’s issues.

Dr. Davis has been married to his sweetheart Debra for many beautiful years. He and Debra have three married children (Jasmine, Jesse and Patrick), and nine grandchildren (Five girls and four boys). When not visiting the grand kids in Pennsylvania or Ohio, Dr. Davis enjoys reading, running, basketball, and golf.
