RichLyn Library is now offering a Kindle for check out to Huntington University students, faculty and staff. The Kindle comes pre-loaded with a selection of New York Times best sellers and new popular Christian book releases. You may also request a title for purchase to be loaded on the Kindle. A list of current titles loaded on the Kindle is available in the RichLyn Library Public Catalog or on LibraryThing.
Kindle's allow the patron to access titles almost immediately. If the Kindle is available, a requested title can be uploaded and purchased within an hour of your request.
Kindle Checkout Information
- Checkout period - 1 week
- Hold Pickup - the Kindle should be picked up within 3 days or it will transfer to the next patron
- Overdue and Other Charges - $5.00 per day
- The Kindle must be returned to the Circulation Desk. If the Kindle is placed in any library drop box your account will be charged a $5.00 fine.
- If the Kindle is lost or not returned your account will be charged a $300 replacement fee.
