Theatre Company to present 'Broadway on the Dock'

Huntington, Ind.—The Huntington University Theatre Company will present “Broadway on the Dock” at 2 p.m. on Oct. 3 on the dock by the Huntington Union Building. This outdoor production includes a variety of music and dance from American Musical Theatre repertoire.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket.

This event, part of Huntington University's 2009 Homecoming celebration, is free and open to the public. If it rains, the show will be moved to the Studio Theatre in the Merillat Centre for the Arts.

The cast includes:

Matthias Austin, a senior theatre performance major with a music minor from Wheaton, Ill.

Willis Barber, a sophomore elementary education major from Peoria, Ill.

Alicia Bonham, a senior theatre performance major from Upland, Ind.

Derek DeRoo, a senior choral education major from Zeeland, Mich.

Bethany Edlund, a junior theatre performance major from Fort Wayne, Ind.

Samantha Freeman, a junior theatre performance major from Portland, Ind.

Katie Geders, a senior elementary and special education major from Huntington, Ind.

Nick Kight, a freshman public relations major from Greenwood, Ind.

Lindsay Hoops, a senior theatre performance major from Leo, Ind.

Jon Huffman, a senior theatre performance, theatre design and technology, and English triple major from Traverse City, Mich.

Cassie Mansheim, a senior psychology major with a theatre minor from Burnsville, Minn.

Glen Pearson, a junior theatre performance major from Naperville, Ind.

Mary Russell, a junior theatre performance major from Columbia, Mo.

Courtney Swenson, a junior theatre performance major from Landenberg, Pa.
