The HU cross country teams ran in Indiana Intercollegiate Little State this weekend at Purdue University with the women
bringing home a fifth place finish while the men
For the women, Cendall Ogle paced the Foresters finishing fifth overall with a time of 19:07. She was followed by teammates Diamond Setterberg who finished 15th with a time of 20:08 and Krystal McHenry who crossed the line in 20:55 to finish 32nd. Bradie Vance (38th) wasn't far behind finishing in 21:10. Molly Shirey (53rd) crossed the line in 21:45 while Abbey Wise finished 59th in 22:21. Miranda Boyts was 63rd with her time of 22:36.
Junior Joseph Herber led the men's team running a 26:14 to land him a 5th place finish. He was followed by Lance Wood who finished 26th with a time of 27:16. with a time of 27:42. Nathan Rupp was 38th in 27:40, Alec Rosario was 48th in 28:05 and Seth Murphy was 74th in 29:10. Other finishers for HU included Josh McIntrye (86th, 30:16), Ethan Medley (89th, 30:40), Isaiah Laatsch (30:47) and Matt Bittner (33:06).
Manchester College was the top small school women’s team with a score of 66 while Wabash College finished as the top small school team for the men with a score of 38.
The Foresters resume action next Saturday when they travel to the University of Minnesota for the Griak Invitational at 9:50 a.m.
