Fort Wayne, Ind. - The rainy weather didn’t stop the Forester women’s tennis team from going head-to-head with Grace College Thursday afternoon at Pine Ridge Racquet and Fitness Club in Fort Wayne but unfortunately the outcome didn’t favor HU as the Lancers picked up the 7-2 win.

Grace, having one of their best years in recent history, snagged all three wins in doubles play before picking up four more wins in singles action to wrap-up the win. The Foresters’ two wins came at the No. 1 and No. 3 spots where Haley Neiderhiser and Kristen Lahman each dropped their opening set but battled back to capture the second set and tiebreaker to record the come-from-behind victories.

The Foresters (2-7, 1-6) face Saint Francis today at 3:00 p.m. at Wildwood Racquet Club in Fort Wayne for their final MCC regular season match.
