Jared Yoder, an exercise science major from Shipshewana, Ind. (Westview High School), helped the Foresters stay unbeaten in Mid-Central Conference play with his timely shooting in both of Huntington’s games last week. In the Foresters’ 85-69 win over the University of St. Francis, Yoder came off the bench to score a career-high 16 points on 5-8 shooting, including 4-5 from behind the arc. Yoder again was a catalyst for the Forester offense in their 53-48 victory over Taylor University. With Huntington down 11-6 to the Trojans early in the contest, Coach Platt inserted Yoder into the lineup. Yoder scored nine of the Foresters' next 13 points on three long bombs to help get Huntington back in the game. He finished with 12 points, again hitting 4-5 treys in the contest. The Foresters (9-4, 3-0) return to action at 7:00 p.m., on Tuesday, December 7, at Grace College.

The Huntington College Foresters compete in 14 intercollegiate sports for men and women. In the past seven years, Huntington has produced 49 NAIA All-American honors and 91 All-American Scholar Athlete honors.
