In a MCC conference match-up, it was the Foresters who ran away from the Cougars of Spring Arbor University with an 82-64 win. HC gradually built a 9-point lead through out the first half and headed to the locker room with a 39-32 cushion. The Foresters then opened up the game with a 10-2 run to start the second half and took their largest lead of the game at 55-37 on a trey by Alex Kock. Spring Arbor battled back to within nine on three occasions, the last time coming on a jumper by DaJuan Jefferson with 2:36 to play. The Foresters' defense then took control of the game. HC held the Cougars scoreless the rest of the way while putting 11 points on the board to seal the win. Leading the way for the Foresters was Doug Sheckler, who came off the bench to score 27 points. He had plenty of help as Kock dropped in 16 points and grabbed a game-high eight rebounds, Steve Snider chipped in 14 points and Kyle Ganton added 10. HC's lone senior, Adam Bontreger, also had a career high 11 assists for the Foresters. Micah Lancaster finished with 21 points and four assists for the Cougars. With the win, the Foresters improve to 14-6 on the season and 6-1 in the MCC.
