In its second win of the season the HU volleyball team wasted no time beating Purdue North Central in three straight games, 25-14, 25-17, 25-18.

Brittney Smelser led the way with 11 kills and nine digs. "It was good to get Brittney back off the injured list," said Coach Scchroeder. "We played pretty good today and our blocking was better."

Alyssa Schroeder finished with 32 assists and two blocks. Rebekah Brown played big at the net adding five blocks and six kills as did Courtney Berger who finished with six kills and four aces. Denise Lehman chipped in seven digs as HU's libero.

"Denise did a nice job for us today. We still need to work on transitioning a little better. We gave up several points on communication breakdowns," comments Coach Schroeder.
