On the other end of the floor, HU made it look easy by shooting a sizzling 58.0 percent from the field and logging 24 assists on their 29 field goals.

Grace’s only lead came in the opening minute when Gabby Bryant knocked down a trey for a 3-2 advantage. Less than 60 seconds later, Foley answered with her first of seven field goals to put her team on top for good.

The Foresters stretched the lead to as many as 13 at 23-10 with just over eight minutes remaining in the half. The Lancers stormed back with a 12-3 run capped off with back-to-back threes to pull within four by the 4:21 mark but HU answered with a similar run to close out the half on top 40-29.

HU ratcheted up their defense even more in the final period to pull away from Grace for the lopsided win. The Foresters out-rebounded the Lancers 30-22.
