Diana Shenefield came to Huntington University in 2009 to teach in the nursing program. She is responsible for teaching nursing classes in the junior and senior year program as well as in the RN to BSN Adult Degree Program.
Before coming to Huntington, Shenefield worked as a Registered Nurse for 25 years specializing in pediatrics. She holds a Masters in Nursing Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University and a PhD in Nursing Education through Capella University.
Shenefield has been married for 30 years to her husband Gary. They have 2 children, Jeremiah who is a Captain in the United States Army and works as a government contractor in Washington, D.C. and Rebecca who a freshman Public Relations major at HU.
Shenefield and her family reside in Huntington.
