The HU men’s tennis team opened up the spring portion of its season by hosting Indiana Tech Tuesday afternoon. The Warriors, having six matches under the belt since February, dominated the match to claim an 8-1 win over the Foresters.

The Forester men’s tennis team’s hopes of capturing its second conference tournament title in four years came to an abrupt ending Saturday afternoon at Wildwood Racquet Club in Fort Wayne as 4th-seeded Marian University took control of the match early to cruise to a 5-1 win over 2nd-seeded Huntington.

It was sweet revenge that couldn’t have come at a better time as the 2nd-seeded HU men’s tennis team (11-2) knocked off 3rd-seeded Indiana Wesleyan University, 5-3, Thursday afternoon in semifinal action of the Crossroads League tourney to advance to the championship match on Saturday.
