The HU baseball team boasts a rich tradition of both team and individual success. Since 1970, 67 Foresters have earned all-conference recognitions, and 12 have garnered enough respect in the field to capture conference golden glove awards. In that time frame, 13 Foresters have been named NAIA All-Americans as well.

Eight Foresters continued their baseball career after Huntington University, making their break into professional baseball: Mike Dafforn (Philadelphia), Tim Dell (Philadelphia), Jim Lawson (Oakland), Heath Luther (Anaheim), Doug Neuenschwander (1997), Mark Parker (Chicago Cubs), Greg Slee (Seattle) and Terry Zorger (Los Angeles).
