Allison Overfelt joined the Huntington University coaching staff as the cheer coach for the Foresters in the fall of 2015. A native of Plymouth, Indiana, Overfelt graduated from Huntington University in 2014 with a BA in Psychology. She was a member of the cheerleading squad for four years during her time at HU. Her favorite memory of being an HU student was performing a two-minute routine of elite stunts in Davis Hall Follies with her fellow Forester cheerleaders.
As the head coach, Overfelt's responsibilities include creating stunt formations and chants, as well as an atmosphere that promotes Forester pride on campus. She previously served as an assistant coach for the Forester cheerleading squad during the 2014-15 season.
In addition to coaching, Overfelt is a full-time Behavioral Technician at Child’s Play Autism Centers in Huntington. She married her husband, Caleb, a 2014 HU graduate who is currently a medical student at IPFW, in the winter of 2015. In her free time, Overfelt enjoys running, playing tennis, reading and traveling.
