Head Bowling Coach

After serving three years as an HU assistant, Mike Shockey is in his second year as the interim head coach of the Forester bowling program. Mike brings over a decade of coaching and bowling experience to the position. In addition to giving individual lessons, the Fort Wayne native was a PBA member and competed in the PBA regional tour. He has also been on the regional/recon ball staff for Ebonite and Motiv Bowling. 

MIke earned his AS in Bowling Lanes Management from Vincennes University in 1997. As a member of the Blazer bowling team, he was the Collegiate Masters champion and the NJCAA team, singles and All-Events champion. He also racked numerous other honors including the IBC Linds award and a handful of All-Tournament Team honors. 

A dispatcher for Frontier Communications, Shockey resides in Fort Wayne with his wife Heather and kids Caitlin and Kendall.
