ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE MAJOR AND MINOR

In the beginning… God commanded us to care for the Earth

Today, the need for wise stewardship of natural resources may be greater than ever before. Huntington University recognizes the importance of caring for God’s creation and has courses and practical learning opportunities designed to equip you to do just that.

Whether you’re interested in conservation, wildlife biology, agriculture, public health, or civil service, HU combines classroom studies and field experiences, placing emphasis on natural sciences, liberal arts, and Christian faith, to prepare you for leadership in environmental stewardship and sustainability.

Mica Allen
Biology (2024)

“HU is by far the greatest decision I have made. The biology program is very thorough and taught extremely well. I feel that I will be prepared for my future plans.”

Dr. Bruce Evans
Professor of Biology

“Always be willing to discard old ideas that have been shown not to be true. It is too easy to hold on to what you have learned when more recent research suggests something else is more likely to be true.”
