Calling All High School Film Creators!
The Forester High School Film Festival is a part of the The Forester Film Festival - a yearly screening and gallery event put on by the Digital Media Arts (DMA) department of Huntington University. With this festival, Huntington University attempts to connect with creative high schoolers, who desire feedback on their work from industry professionals and are looking into continuing their education in either film, animation, or broadcasting.
The categories are as follows…
10 Minutes or less and created by a high school student.
A broadcasting piece created by a high school student. It can be work created as part of a school news team if that submitter is the featured reporter, anchor, or producer.
A stop motion or computer animation created by a high school student.
Note: All entries must submit contact information for their high school so we may verify the legitimacy of the submission. Please send that information to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Winners of the Forester High School Film Festival receive the "Forester Excellence Award" and are VIPs to our Forster Film Festival black-tie screening event and reception. They also receive feedback on their work from professionals and may have their work screened at the reception. Three categories are available to apply - Film, Animation, and Broadcasting.
