NCATE 2013

Overview: 2013 NCATE Review

Welcome to the home page for Huntington University's 2013 NCATE reaccreditation visit.  This site is serving as an electronic exhibit room for the Institutional Report as well as all of the accompanying evidence, data, and documentation pursuant to a reaccreditation visit, April 7-9, 2013.

The purpose of the information on this site is to demonstrate to a national accrediting body, the National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE), that the Huntington University Teacher Education Program meets or exceeds all NCATE standards for candidate performance and program quality. The Huntington University program was first accredited by NCATE in 1994, and has been continuously accredited since that time.

You are welcome to open and examine any of the documents on this site or linked to this site. Huntington University is proud of the strong tradition of its Teacher Education Program and invites you to study this report and data related to the program's pursuit of excellence. You may also participate in the process by providing feedback to NCATE. (Download instructions for public comment.)

The Teacher Education Program is blessed to have graduates who are working passionately to make a difference in the lives of children and youth in Indiana, across the U.S. and in many countries around the world. That is the calling and the quest of those associated with this program and we will continue to pursue it vigorously.
