Firefighters too act as leader volunteers regularly interacting with the youth and guiding their activities.  These children learn from exercises such as utilizing fire safety equipment and training, educational activities, team sports initiatives, character building lessons.  Field trips include visits to the Public Safety Village, Fire Station, and Fire Museum. Bridge Day Summer Camp focuses primarily on a spiritual emphasis while providing educational activities in an interactive, fun environment that involves crafts, sports, and other training exercises.  Field trips in the city attractions connect with and enhance reading and other learning techniques.
