Assistant Bowling Coach

Jeff Newkirk joins the Forester coaching staff for his second year as an assistant for the men’s and women’s bowling programs. Newkirk’s responsibilities include working with players on the physical and mental aspect of the game, providing spiritual guidance and assisting with recruiting efforts.

Newkirk offers over 30 years of experience in the bowling industry. As a bowler, he bowled for Vincennes University where he was a 1995 Academic All-America honoree. He also boasts two Indiana Amateur Championships (2000 & 2001).

In addition to his playing experience, Newkirk also claims nine years of coaching experience having served as an assistant coach at his alma mater from 1997-2006.

Newkirk graduated from Vincennes in 1996 with a degree in Bowling Industry Management and Public Relations. He currently serves as the brand manager/on-line sales manager at Strikeforce Bowling. He and his wife Jamie reside in Columbia City and have two kids Julian and Jaden.
