Lisa Montany, Director of Financial Aid, oversees undergraduate, professional, and graduate financial aid at Huntington University. She is a 2008 graduate of Indiana Wesleyan University where she received an undergraduate degree in Psychology, and a 2011 graduate of The Chicago School of Professional Psychology where she received a Masters of Industrial/Organizational Psychology. She previously worked at Indiana Wesleyan University as the director of financial aid and as a financial aid counselor. Prior to her work in higher education, Montany served as a case manager and as a mental health therapist at Heart of Texas Region Mental Health and Mental Retardation Center in Waco, Texas.
Montany lives in her hometown of Marion, Indiana, with her husband, Chris, and her two rescue cats, Leif and Nigel. In her free time, she enjoys cooking a variety of diverse foods and is currently focused on perfecting her Ukrainian borscht and chicken curry recipes. Due to her interest in diverse cuisines, she currently owns over 100 different spices (and counting), so if you ever need a pinch of an unusual spice to complete a recipe, give her a call.
