Megan Engle enters her third year as an assistant coach for the HU women's golf program. Engle’s responsibilities will include assisting with practices and tournaments in addition to mentoring players through Bible studies and accountability meetings.
While this serves as Engle’s first coaching stint, the Huntington native brings well-documented success to the position. After excelling at HNHS as a three-sport athlete, Engle spent two years playing Division I golf at Butler University in Indianapolis before transferring to HU where she earned a BS in English Education in 2004.
Engle went on to earn a law degree from Regent University in 2008. She currently serves as the ministry coordinator at St. Peter’s First Community Church. She and her husband, Phil, and their children, Eloise and Emmitt, reside in Roanoke, Indiana.
