Peter Kitchen enters his 7th year as an assistant coach for the Foresters. His duties include assisting with practices and recruiting.
Kitchen brings a wealth of playing and coaching experience to the program. After an outstanding tennis career as a Forester where he was a four-time MCC All-Conference player and two-time NAIA All-District pick, Kitchen spent a year as an assistant for the program. He went on to log 12 more years of coaching tennis at Huntington North High School, one year as the girls’ coach and the remaining years as the boys’ coach.
Kitchen graduated with a BS in Elementary Education in 1995. He is currently employed as a fourth grade teaching in Huntington. He is married to Elizabeth and together they have two children Clark and Carson.
