Joined the Huntington University faculty in 2019.

Jane Bitting teaches in the Department of Education, where she specializes in the areas of speech/communications and theatre. She was prepared well for her current role, having spent roughly eighteen years working in various fields within education. Jane’s professional interests include project-based learning and teacher evaluation feedback.

No matter how much you know, there is always something you can learn more about or improve in. Jane’s desire is that she can communicate to her students the importance of having a growth mindset; her goal is that her students are prepared for success when teaching, with the skills and commitment to keep Christ at the center of their classroom whether they are in public or private education.

Jane currently resides in her hometown of Albion with her husband, Brandon. They live on the family farm that has been passed down through Brandon’s family for over 150 years, where they raise Hereford beef cattle. When not teaching or raising cattle, Jane enjoys traveling and volunteering in her community.
