DMA Program Administrative Assistant
Alyssa Alley returned to her alma mater in 2021 to become the administrative assistant for the digital media arts programs at Huntington University Arizona. Her goals as a DMA assistant are to help maintain a consistent staff workflow, manage activities and events, lend an extra hand wherever needed, and provide a safe and confidential dialogue with students in need of counseling. Alyssa holds a Bachelor of Science degree in animation from Huntington University Arizona. As a student, she volunteered to lead animation workshops and run events. She was part of three award-winning HU Arizona teams for animated shorts, one of which she directed: "Tobeus and Toby," winner of Best of Fest for animation at the Broadcast Education Association Festival of Media Arts and a Rocky Mountain Emmy Student Production Award for animation and a Student Los Angeles Film Awards Finalist for animation, all in 2020. She was selected to direct a second film her senior year. Alyssa has been involved with freelance work since 2016.
Residing in her hometown of Waddell, Arizona, Alyssa enjoys activities such as creating/designing characters, developing stories/scripts, playing video games, and kickboxing.
