Evan Clark is the resident director for Wright and Miller residence halls. A 2014 graduate of Huntington University, Evan is responsible for overseeing the men who live in Wright and Miller as well as training and supporting resident assistants. His goal is to help residents find their place in the thriving Huntington University community and discover how they can uniquely contribute to that community.
Evan returned to his alma mater as resident director in 2018 after receiving his Master of Arts degree in evangelism and leadership with a focus in outdoor adventure leadership. He also helped create the Vanguard gap year program at Wheaton College and the internship program at HoneyRock, became a wilderness first responder, and married his wife, Alyvia.
As his resume suggests, Evan enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, camping and disc golfing. His favorite HU memory is from the day he got to speak in chapel about his PRIME internship experience, an opportunity that sparked later conversations.
