Do you want a career helping young people to grow in their faithfulness to God? Are you seeking a college degree which values critical thinking, problem solving, and creativity? Do you want a college major that integrates biblical truth, evangelical theology, church history, and educational psychology and methodology?

Look no further. The Huntington University Department of Ministry and Missions offers the Bachelor of Science degree in youth ministries. Our mission is “to develop thoughtful and faithful leaders who will equip others for effective ministry.” We are discipleship-based in our approach. Our primary task is to help you be prepared to implement biblically sound strategies for ministry. You’ll gain the knowledge, skills, and commitments necessary to lead teenagers toward increasing maturity and faithfulness in their relationship with God.

Gain full-time experience while earning your degree

A unique part of our program is the PRIME Experience (Practical Research and Immersion for Ministry Effectiveness). During this seven-month internship, you’ll be mentored by effective ministry leaders. PRIME experiences are offered in churches and teen-focused ministries throughout the United States and around the world in 30 states and 18 countries including Australia, Germany, Honduras, Kenya, and Macau.
