Residence Life

Welcome to Residence Life at Huntington University!

We are so glad to share the upcoming semester and years with you on the campus on HU. Living in the residence halls is a great opportunity to experience relational ministry, personal growth, and share life together. Each of our residence halls has students from all over the US and globe. With this diversity of students and stories, the campus community is woven together into an exciting expression of the Kingdom of God.

The Residence Life staff is looking forward to spending time with you as you transition to HU, find a roommate, learn leadership skills, work through joy and difficulty, meet new friends, learn how to wash laundry, stay up late talking about Chapel and classes, be a disciple and be discipled, share meals, study for exams and, most importantly, develop further into the person that Christ has called you to be.

In short, living on campus will help you practice the “one anothers” of the New Testament — Love one another, be of the same mind as one another, serve one another, bear one another’s burdens, be hospitable to one another and minister to one another. It is a critical element of the Huntington University educational experience and we look forward to journeying with you in this process.

Sincerely,

Jesse Brown
Associate Dean of Student Development, Director of the Horizon Leadership Program
