Freshmen Registration FAQ

You have questions, we have answers!

When do I arrive? 
Check-in will occur from 6:30-7:30 p.m. (Easter Daylight Savings Time) in the MCA (#6 on the map).

How do I need to dress for the weekend? Is anything formal? 
Dress for all events will be casual.

What do I need to bring with me? 
Students will have the opportunity to stay on campus with a current student, but will need to bring their own pillow, blankets/sleeping bag, towel and toiletries.

If I'm staying on campus, where can my parent(s) stay?
Any parents and guests who are coming from a distance may make reservations at a local hotel. Special programs and events will be provided for parents and guests throughout the weekend.

What meals are available on campus during the weekend? 
Meals provided for students and guests:

Friday night: snacks / dessert
Saturday: Breakfast buffet available in the Habecker Dining Commons (#7 on the map), continental breakfast items will be available in the Dowden Science Hall (#22 on the map).

Is there a cost to Freshmen Registration Weekend?
There is a $50 registration fee that can be paid online or via check. If you plan to pay online, you can do so when you fill out your online registration form. If you plan to pay with a check, please make checks payable to "Huntington University" and mail the check to:
