HUNTINGTON, Ind. - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced its fall sport Scholar Athletes and 19 Huntington student-athletes representing five different teams were among the list of honorees.
The HU men's soccer team had six Scholar Athletes, the second highest number of student-athletes from one team named to the list.
In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status to qualify for this honor.
