INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The 2nd-seeded Knights of Marian University overpowered the 3rd-seeded HU women’s tennis team Thursday afternoon to earn a 5-0 win over their visitors in semifinal action of the Crossroads League tournament.

With this win, MU (9-1) earns its sixth consecutive berth to the tourney finals where they will face top-seeded Indiana Wesleyan. The loss drops the Foresters to 10-3 on the season and brings an end to the fall portion of their schedule.

It was a tough loss for Coach Ferguson and crew as the Knights logged all three wins in double action and then snagged two more wins at No. 4 and No. 5 singles to wrap up the overall victory and bring all other matches to a screeching halt.
