HUNTINGTON, Ind. – Columbia City High School standout Abigail Atkins has signed her letter of intent to bowl for the Huntington University this fall.

Atkins advanced to the 2015 Indiana High School Bowling State Finals this past weekend. No stranger to success, she qualified for IHSB Semi-State her first three years before capping off her final season with a trip to the big stage.

In 2013 Atkins qualified for the finals of the Indiana Youth Masters and Queens Tournament where she finished 14th. She was also a member of the Indiana All-Stars that defeated the Kentucky All-Stars that same year. She qualified and competed for Junior Gold in 2013 and 2014 with a high average of 189.

Atkins plans to study Agribusiness and Pre-Vet at HU.
