Boester, a business major from Auburn, Ind. (DeKalb High School), played an instrumental role in a pair of upset wins last week. Against No. 15 Bethel College on Tuesday, the 5-10 guard posted13 points including a trio of triples, pulled down seven rebounds and dished out two assists in HU's impressive 61-59 win over the Pilots.
HU's floor general capped off the week by dishing out a team-high four assists to go along with eight points in Huntington's 63-59 decision over 20th-ranked Taylor University on Saturday, their second consecutive win over a top 25 team.
Boester is currently ranked sixth in the league in 3-point field goal percentage (42.7), eighth in steals per game (1.33) and tenth in assists per game (3.12).
With only two regular season games remaining, the Foresters (15-13, 6-10) are currently sitting in eighth place in Crossroads play, one game behind 7th-seeded Marian. They travel to Goshen on Tuesday for a 7:00 p.m. matchup with the Maple Leafs before returning to the friendly confines of Platt Arena on Saturday to face Spring Arbor at 3:00 p.m.
