HUNTINGTON, Ind. - The Huntington University men’s and women’s bowling teams will compete in the 2016 NAIA Invitational Team Championships this weekend.

The top 20 NAIA teams for both men and women will compete for this year’s title at Championship Lanes in Anderson (Ind.) beginning tomorrow. This is the fourth straight trip for the Forester women while the HU men will be competing in the team championships for the first time.

On Friday, all teams will bowl 24 Baker games (six 4-game sets). Based on Friday’s scores, teams will be seeded for Saturday’s double elimination Baker matches with the top 12 seeds from Friday’s qualifying each receiving a bye to the second round.

Each head-to-head matchup is the best three out of five Baker games. Teams remaining after Saturday’s six rounds will return Sunday to determine the 2016 NAIA National Champions.
