"We look forward to making this a great learning experience for every participant," said Candace Cooper, coach of the Huntington University cheerleading squad. "It is our hope that everything learned would benefit each girl in her future as a cheerleader."
Participants are invited to return to the Merillat Complex for Physical Education and Recreation at 2:15 p.m. on Nov. 22 to demonstrate the cheer they learned from the clinic at a Huntington University men's basketball game. The game begins at 3 p.m. Participation is encouraged but not required. All participants will be admitted free of charge if they wear the T-shirt they received the day of the clinic. Parents also may attend the game free of charge.
