HUNTINGTON, Ind. – Huntington University head coach Jim Bischoff has announced that Chesterton High School senior standout Heidi Tucker has signed her letter of intent to bowl for Huntington University this fall. She will major in nursing.

Tucker has experienced much success as a Trojan. Averaging 190, she has been integral in why her team is currently sharing the top spot in their conference in addition to establishing the high team game, team series and second high team average in the state so far this season.

The right-hander qualified for the Indiana High School Bowling State Finals in 2013 where she finished 11th. She was also a regional qualifier this past spring. She has been a Junior Gold qualifier for two years and was the 2014 Indiana Master’s and Queens high qualifier.

Tucker finished 12th in the Indiana Queen’s finals and was on the 2014 Indiana All-Star team that defeated Kentucky.  She has competed and qualified for finals of many other tournaments including the NWIJTBA and has the two highest games ever bowled on that tour. She has also served as a youth advisor for this tour.

Tucker has a high game of 297 and high series of 730.
