HUNTINGTON, Ind. – Huntington University women’s tennis coach Roger Ferguson has inked his first recruit for the fall of 2017 in Lisa Colling of Great Britain.

Colling comes to Huntington as the 18U and Ladies Staffordshire County Tennis Champion and West Midlands Regional Association of Colleges Champion. She has represented her country in regional and national competitions in both singles and doubles events.

Additionally, she has played ladies doubles for Wall Heath Tennis Club and ladies and mixed doubles for David Lloyd Tennis Club as well as competing in the Aegon Team Tennis singles and doubles events on behalf of Tipton Sports Academy.

When not playing, Collings enjoys helping younger players develop their tennis skills and serves as a volunteer referee at mini red tournaments at Tipton. 

Colling plans to study psychology at Huntington this fall. She is the daughter of Claire and David Colling.

The Huntington University Foresters compete in 17 intercollegiate sports for men and women.
