HUNTINGTON, Ind. – Huntington University senior Dalton Combs was named this week’s Baseball Player of the Week as announced by the Crossroads League earlier this afternoon.

Combs helped lead #RV HU to a perfect 6-0 record last week. The Monroe native (Adams Central HS) went 12-for-23 at the plate for .522 which included five doubles and his fifth homer of the year. He also drove in eight runs, registered a slugging percentage of .870, drew four walks and posted three steals.

He currently boast three top five rankings in the league which includes second in slugging percentage (.692), third in runs scored per game (1.09) and fourth in batting average (.397). For the year, he has a team-high 31 hits including 13 for extra bases, 21 RBI and an on base percentage of .500.

The Huntington University Foresters compete in 17 intercollegiate sports for men and women.
