HUNTINGTON, Ind. – The Crossroads League has announced that Huntington University junior Dalton Combs has been named the baseball Player of the Week for the week of March 28, 2016.

Combs helped lead HU to a 4-3 record last week. The Monroe native (Adams Central HS) went 14-for-24 for .583 which included five doubles and his ninth career homerun. He also drove in five runs and registered a slugging percentage of .917 for the week.

He currently ranks second in the league in batting average (.427) slugging percentage (.680), hits per game (1.39) and total bases per game (2.22). For the year, he has logged a team-high 32 hits including 11 for extra bases and 14 RBI and boasts an on base percentage of .463.

The Huntington University Foresters compete in 17 intercollegiate sports for men and women.
