Davis, Hopper to showcase work in senior art exhibit

Huntington, Ind.-Patrick Davis and Ben Hopper, graphic design majors at Huntington University, will show their capstone achievements in photography and web design during their senior exhibit.

Their work will be highlighted in the Robert E. Wilson Gallery from Nov. 20 through Dec. 5 with a reception from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 22. Each senior will show pieces that are a visual representation of what they have learned during their time at Huntington University.

The exhibit is titled "Culminations in Photography and Web Design."

"I want the audience to gain an understanding and respect for where photography started and what it has become today," said Davis regarding his goal for the exhibit.

Davis is the son of Dr. Jerry and Debra Davis, and Hopper is the son of Ken and Margaret Hopper. Both Davis and Hopper are from Huntington, Ind., and both plan to graduate in May with Bachelor of Arts degrees in graphic design.

The Robert E. Wilson Gallery is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and before all Merillat Centre for the Arts performances. The senior exhibit is free and open to the public. For more information, call interim gallery director Barb Michel at (260) 359-4172.
