Digital media arts faculty present Co Hoedeman films
Huntington, Ind.-The Digital Media Arts faculty will present an evening of films by Canadian filmmaker Co Hoedeman at 7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 29 in Longaker Recital Hall of the Merillat Centre for the Arts.
Students, faculty, staff and their families are invited to attend this free event. Films will be shown in two sets with a short intermission. The titles offered include the following:

Master animator Co Hoedeman was born in Amsterdam in 1940. After immigrating to Canada at age 25, he joined the National Film Board of Canada where he produced his first film, "Oddball," in 1969. Since then, he has worked on more than 20 productions, including a four-part series in which Ludovic the teddy bear discovers the seasons.
Hoedeman has earned more than 80 international awards and honors throughout his career. "The Sand Castle" alone garnered 24 awards, including an Oscar in 1978 for best animated short. An animation wizard, Hoedeman creates works of great sensitivity. He's an inquisitive and wonderfully sensitive filmmaker who will use any technique to develop his all-encompassing vision of the world.
The film viewing is a precursor to Hoedeman's appearance as part of the Forester Lecture Series at 7 p.m. on Oct. 2 in the Zurcher Auditorium of the MCA.
