Eighteen fall athletes earn NAIA Scholar Athlete honors

HUNTINGTON, Ind. - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced its fall sport Daktronics-NAIA Scholar Athletes and included are18 Huntington University student-athletes representing five different teams.

The Forester women’s soccer team boasted the third most individuals on the list of women’s soccer teams with nine total.

In order to be nominated by an institution’s head coach, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status to qualify for this honor.

The Huntington University Foresters compete in 17 intercollegiate sports for men and women.
