Evans serves as editorial consultant for issue of Christian History

Dr. Bruce Evans, professor of biology, recently served as an editorial consultant for the current issue of Christian History. Issue 107 is dedicated to the history of thought concerning the Christian church's various responses to Charles Darwin's ideas about naturalistic evolution, famously published in 1859. The issue is titled, "DEBATING DARWIN: How the church responded to the evolution bombshell.". Evans maintains an interest in issues concerning evolution, creation, intelligent design and other views concerning origins. He periodically offers a course in January term called, "Are You Just a Cosmic Accident," and has attended conferences at the University of Chicago as well as Baylor, Yale and Biola universities concerning these issues.
