UPLAND, Ind. - The HU men’s tennis team played some of its best tennis of the year Tuesday afternoon at Meier Courts to enjoy a 6-3 road win over the Trojans of Taylor University (2-4, 2-3).
With this win, the Foresters improve to 5-2 overall, 4-1 in league play. Huntington, riding a four-game win streak, is currently tied for third in the conference standings with Marian.
Two of Taylor’s victories came in singles action with their win in doubles proving to be first Crossroads League loss at the No. 3 spot for the Foresters.
Coach Eckert’s crew heads up north for the weekend to compete in the ITA National Qualifier slated to start on Thursday.
