FORT WAYNE, Ind. – Playing in the University of Saint Francis Spring Invitational, shortened to just one day because of inclement weather, the Huntington men’s golf team posted a team score of 332 to finish 8th out of nine teams.

Leading the way for HU was Lance Hoch with a 77 good for a share of eighth place out of 61 golfers. Zach Borntreger posted an 81 while Logan DeMaa and Logan Choka each carded an 87. Alex Creekmur rounded out Huntington’s scoring with an 89.

Taylor claimed the men’s title by shooting a 305 followed by Indiana Tech (308), Indiana Wesleyan (310), Grace (314), Trine (315), Saint Francis (317), Mount Vernon (322), HU (332) and Bethel (337).

The Huntington University Foresters compete in 17 intercollegiate sports for men and women.
