WINONA LAKE, Ind. - The Huntington women’s tennis team posted its first league win of the year with a 6-3 decision over Grace College over Labor Day on Kramer Courts. The win is the Foresters’ fifth straight over the Lancers.
There was no panic in the Foresters despite earning just one point in doubles play. They quickly righted their wrong by winning at five of the six singles spots to cruise to the victory.
With this win, HU improves to 3-1 overall, 1-1 in conference action. They are back in action on Tuesday when they host Saint Francis at 4:00 p.m.
