HUNTINGTON, IN JULY 15, 1996—- Huntington College announced today that Sam Wright has been tapped to head its golf program. Wright, a Huntington native and teacher at Riverview Middle School, will assume head coaching duties in the fall.

Wright brings a variety of experience to the HC program. He was a member of the IU golf team, has worked in course management and development and has served as assistant coach to a number of high school programs.

“We're excited that Sam is joining our coaching staff,” says Athletic Director Lori Culler. “He has been involved in golfing programs at a variety of levels and brings a great enthusiasm for the sport to HC. Sam's teaching ability will carry over well to his role as a college coach.”
