HUNTINGTON, IN MAY 22, 1996—- Craig Sloan and Jason Boldt have been named to the 1996 All Great Lakes Region team for baseball. “This is an outstanding honor,” explained Forester head coach Mike Frame. “Both young men are now eligible for the NAIA All American team to be announced later this month.”

Boldt, a junior from Vancouver, British Columbia, hit .382 with 8 home runs and 51 RBI this spring. He broke HC school records for at bats (173), hits (66), and doubles (20). He also tied the school record for runs with 47. His RBI total represents the second highest total in school history.

Sloan, a sophomore from St. Thomas, Ontario led the Foresters in hitting with a .399 average. He had 3 HR and 37 RBI. Craig was the only underclassmen named to the 1996 team.

The Huntington College Foresters compete in 13 sports for men and women. Founded in 1897 by the Church of the United Brethren in Christ, the four-year liberal arts college offers graduate and undergraduate programs in nearly 50 fields of study. Located on a contemporary, wooded campus in Huntington, Indiana, the College is among the fastest growing members of the Coalition for Christian Colleges and Universities.
