Graduate counseling program to host open house

Huntington, Ind.-The Huntington University Graduate School will host an open house for those interested in learning more about the Master of Arts in counseling degree program. The visitation day will take place from 3 to 8 p.m. on Nov. 5 on the university's campus. This event is free of charge and open to the public.

"People will have the chance to sit in on two of our classes and meet some of the current counseling students," Dr. Jerry Davis, director of the graduate counseling program and professor in counseling said. "It's a great opportunity to ask questions and experience some of the distinctives of our program."

The afternoon will begin at 3 p.m. in the Huntington University Graduate School with light refreshments and an introduction. Attendees will then sit in on part of Dr. Steve Lee's Human Growth and Development class. Davis and current counseling students will host dinner and a question/answer session following class. Prospective students will then have the opportunity to sit in on part of Professor Michelle Mallet's Social and Cultural Foundations class.
