HUNTINGTON, IN JUNE 25, 1996—- Huntington College announced today that Jennifer Gurtner will take the reins of its women's tennis program this fall.

Gurtner, who served as assistant coach for Huntington College last season, has been involved in tennis for many years. She was a member of the Manchester College women's tennis team for four years and played three years of varsity tennis at Huntington North High School. Prior to serving as assistant coach at Huntington College, Gurtner served as assistant tennis coach one year at Whitco High School and also has given private lessons.

“We are excited that Jennifer is stepping into the head coaching role. She was an important part of the program as an assistant last year, and brings valuable experience to the position with her prior coaching involvement as various levels. We look forward to having her join our coaching staff,” said Huntington College athletic director Lori Culler.

Jennifer is also employed as a Securities Accounting Analyst for Lincoln Investments Company in Fort Wayne and attends Emmanuel United Brethren Church.
